Arting Around

Dear Sid, Thank you so much for sharing your many gifts and talents as an artist with my sisters and me! We all had so much fun! You kept the party lively; you have great energy! Thank you for making a great birthday party and memory for all of us."

It was so much fun! Sid guided us but let us put our own special twist to our pieces! We loved it so much we decided to book a birthday party for our 13-year-old!! Sid is the BEST!!

It was so easy to follow Sid's step-by-step instructions to paint my own masterpiece!

I have no experience painting. She made it simple and fun!

I also appreciate that Sid encourages individual creativity. Each painting was unique.

Sid is an enthusiastic and patient teacher. All students are encouraged to interpret the painting individually. I would definitely take another class from her and I do tell my friends to check this out. It's always fun!

I received a painting that was exactly what I had hoped for...It reminds me of fall, my favorite season. Sometimes when I look at it I see many scattered leaves. I can't even imagine the amount of time and effort Sid put into it, but it's absolutely beautiful...Thank you, Sid, for creating 'fall' and all the good feelings that go along with it for me to enjoy the whole year.

I love the penguins you painted for me. The parents and chicks are adorable and very fun. The lowball glasses and pitcher you painted for me made the perfect birthday and Christmas gifts for our penguin-loving friend.

We appreciated the opportunity to work with Sid through the artistic process of creating original art. She patiently and enthusiastically helped us design the perfect paintings for our room, and expertly matched the existing colors and designs. Sid offers a unique opportunity to commission art at a reasonable price and to have the fun of being part of the process.

Seeing her painted glassware in her studio, I commissioned Sid to paint 4 wine glasses comically depicting my cat drinking wine. They were done exactly as I requested and I absolutely love them. Sid is very creative and does excellent work. I highly recommend her.

My mom adored my late dog Cody like he was a grandchild. When he passed, I thought that the best way to remember him was a hand-painted portrait of him by Sid, and my mom loves it.

Dan Baker

I love my mid-century glass menagerie! Sid's customized glasses are perfect 'fancy' glasses for the granddaughters' holiday meals. They love that each got to have their favorite animal and that they are so cute!

Jane O'Brien

I was visiting Sid's house and I saw one of her paintings that totally captured the late '50s into the early '60s, done in flamingo pink, aqua, and black and white. I thought those designs would look so cool on a Stratocaster (guitar) introduced in 1954 with the name coming from the 'Stratosphere,' so I supplied her with a black strat body, and Behold!

We always love having Sid's works in our gallery space. They're full of vibrant colors, happy animals and beautiful landscapes that make everyone smile when they walk in.

I am proud to say I own numerous Sid Korpi originals. (Swirly Tree, Rainwashed Daisies and Extinct Is Forever) She would post a new work on Facebook and I'd tell her I had to have it! She often complained that I kept buying up her favorite pieces but she was glad to know they were getting a good home!

Linda McDonald

I own several original pieces by Sid Korpi. In fact, she has an entire corner of my living room set aside solely for her art. I've also purchased paintings for my family. I love her style."

Shari O'Flanagan

I always stock up on greeting cards when I visit Sid's studio. In particular, I buy several of an eagle flying over some mountains. I use them as sympathy cards because the image is so uplifting.
